GET YOUR DOODLE ON THE TABLE

ON THE TABLE. I've spent the past few months working on a really cool project for Culture Days here in Halton Hills. Culture Days is a national event involving a lot of people, places, and things. Art, music, food, dancing, singing, eating, playing, hiking... you name it, someone is probably holding an event for it during Culture Days.

I would love to have a broad spectrum of age groups represented ON THE TABLE. This past weekend saw of number of people draw their stories. It is in the story telling that I find the most meaning. The pictures lead the way to discussions deep in both experience and insight. This journey is teaching me a lot about the perspective of young peoples faced with living during a pandemic. I want to hear from more teenagers, middle-aged, and older people. Please reserve your spot on the table and be a part of this work of art.

My event, ON THE TABLE is heading into it's last weekend. Friday, Oct 1 - Saturday, Oct 2 - Sunday, Oct 3

Find a friend and reserve your spots ON THE TABLE-Controlled Collaborative Creative Chaos

https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/165811658133

There are 60 spots left to collaborate & create, and finish this masterpiece. I need your help, and creative genius to make this happen. Two easy steps: take a positive experience or memory from during this pandemic, then paint that memory ON THE TABLE.

I've got the table, the paint, the tent. Reserve a time slot (one spot, 30 minutes of draw time on the table). Show up 10 minutes before your start time and get your doodle on!!! If you can write your name and manhandle a marker... you've got this! I'm hoping for some really great weather this weekend!

There is so much to do here in the Hamlet of Glen Williams. You'll find art galleries, antiques, glass blowing, pottery, jewelers, sculptors, and painters. If you get hungry, stop in at Copper Kettle, Kit's Little Kitchen, The Glen Oven. Wander along the Credit River and enjoy the fresh air. Seriously, so much to do! Think day-tripping!

SHARE THIS POST PLEASE, and book a spot ON THE TABLE for yourself and a friend. If you've read this far, you'll receive a cookie from Terra Cotta Cookies for drawing your spot ON THE TABLE. Everyone LOVES a TERRA COTTA COOKIE!

A special thank you to: Terra Cotta Foods Ltd for sponsoring this event & donating treats. The very generous product donations from Home Hardware Georgetown, The Sign Shoppe, and Thai Massage Toronto will definitely make this event go smoothly! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
